Eternal World, A Warband Universe
In the First Year of the First Era, the kingdoms of the Eternal World were established, starting from the lands of Calradia when the humans expands and conquered the land, becoming the first empire in the world known as the Calradic Empire. 200 years later, the humans later inhabit the surrounding lands and later established the States of Barclay. As time passes, humans discovered the land of Pendor and learnt the existence of the Noldor and quickly befriending them before establishing the Jatu Empire who then enslaved the Noldor and reduced their numbers greatly. The Jatu were ruthless in their rule and were overthrown by their subjects in the 299th Year of the First Era, founding the kingdom of Pendor. In 450th Year of the First Era, Pendor was divided into smaller factions after the death of King Alexius and these factions were fighting against each other to determine who is the supreme ruler of Pendor. These factions were the kingdom of Ravenstern, the kingdom of Sarleon, the Baccus Empire, the Fierdsvain and the D’Shar Principalities. During the Pendorian War, a Fierdsvain noble sailed west, discovering a land rich with metal which would later become the Mettenheim Empire, a powerful civilization who are experts of metallurgy. At the same time, the Calradic Empire falls as several factions were established, fighting over the throne of Calradia. In the 640th Year of the First Era, a son of a declining noble from the distant lands of Praevor came to Pendor by the name of Crixus Rycaster. He gathered his faithful companions and served the kingdom of Ravenstern, becoming the Grandmaster of the Order of the Dragon before leaving his liege in favor of crushing the Sarleons and to unify the disputing kingdoms of Pendor under his leadership. In 650th Year, First Era, he united the land and were later known as the Unified Providence of the Five with the Noldor on his side. The Unified Providence of the Five was a nation united under the banner of Emperor Crixus during the Pendorian War. Alongside his knights of the Order of the Black Cross and the Order of the Dragon, Crixus and his most trusted vassals united the realm by vanquishing their foes and befriending the Noldor, becoming the Providence’s allies. After many years of peace, Crixus reforms the order of knights that were under his leadership to form the Rychen (Rai-ken (‘e’ as in derp)) Order. An order whose purpose are to protect the realm from threats such as the remnants of the Jatu Empire, the wandering armies of the Snake Cult and the worshippers of the Heretic Order. Several years later, the Noldor and the Providence worked together to further advance their technologies, introducing the use of machines to the surrounding civilizations such as the ever expanding Barclay Empire, the Mettenheim Empire and the warring kingdoms of the continent of Calradia. These advancements made the Providence as the smartest nation in the Eternal World. This brings on the invention of cannons, war machines, domestic transportations and other technological advancements. Several decades later, Emperor Crixus died of old age and left his peaceful empire to his son, Arakith the Valiant. As the news of the previous emperor’s death spread throughout the Eternal World, the Barclay Empire and the Mettenheim Empire formed an alliance, forming the Empire of Two and attacked the vulnerable Providence. Little do they know, the Providence were well prepared for situations such as this as Crixus has been working alongside the Noldor in improving the Providence’s massive but well-trained armies to combat deadlier foes than the likes of Mettenheim and Barclay soldiers. This will always be known as the War of the Three Emperors which involves Arakith, Empress Arin of the Mettenheim and Emperor Izunya of the Barclay. The war goes on for years, with both sides losing many men even with the advanced technologies the Providence had. The Noldor were not involved in the war under the request of Arakith himself. Until the Empire decided besiege Elacrai after tracking down a Providence noble, exposing their hidden castle. It was a enormous mistake made by the Empire however, as their thousands of men were quickly overwhelmed by the superior troops of the Noldor, not to mention with the presence of a few members of the Rychen Order. The Empire lost many men as they brought their largest armies to partake in the Battle of Elacrai, giving the Providence the opportunity to send massive fleets comprising of Providence and Noldor troops to Mettenheim and Barclay lands to lay waste on their cities, finally showing their true potential on the battlefield. The Providence’s enemies were forced to surrender but only Empress Arin surrendered to the Providence and swore to pledge their allegiance to Arakith. Izunya however, continued the fight against the Providence. In the 700th Year of the First Era, the Barclay Empire was defeated and remained independent. The Providence and the Mettenheim Empire suffered greatly in the war and were trying to rebuild their respective civilizations. In 720, Arakith married the Empress of Mettenheim, expanding the territory of the Providence. The empire was later known as the Hytlegaardian Empire or the Empire of Hytlegaard. However, back in Calradia, the kingdoms are still at war at each other before it was unified by a noble of the Hytlegaardian lands known as Luthor Castellan. The Calradian kings and lords were defeated, finally uniting the kingdoms under one banner, one nation. Thus, reforming the Calrad Empire. To the far east, the Kingdom of Praevor is a fairly new civilization founded over 300 years ago which was never unheard of until they allied with Hytlegaard and the Calradic Empire in order to grow and to colonize further lands.
The Maps of the Eternal World
The map of Pendor, before the end of the Pendorian War. North to Calradia.
The map of Calradia, before its unification. South to Pendor, with the Sarranids (yellow) facing north.
Barclay, located South West of Pendor and West to Calradia.
Mettenheim, located North West to Calradia and Pendor.
Praevor, located East to all above nations.
The Calradic Empire
The Calradic Empire's troops mainly consists of the finest men and women that originates from the lands that were once occupied by the warring kingdoms before its unification. This makes Calradic armies rather large and powerful thanks to their collection of the finest. Swadian Knights (Cavalry) Rhodok Sergeants (Infantry) Nordic Huscarls (Infantry) Vaegir Marksmen (Archers) Sarranid Mamlukes (Cavalry)
Empire of Hytlegaard
Hytlegaardian troops varies from region to region. Although Pendor Troops are essentially the main armies of the Empire, there is no doubt that some other nobles have less or even less Pendor troops in their armies because of the overall quality of the troops that originated from the regions that were once occupied by the old kingdoms. Noldor Rangers (Archers) Sarleon Knights (Cavalry) Ravenstern Archers (Archers)
Fierdsvain Huscarls (Infantry) Empire Armored Crossbowmen (Crossbowmen) Ravenstern Knights (Cavalry) Dragon Drakes (Infantry) Since Mettenheim merged with the Providence through Arakith's marriage with the ruler of Mettenheim (Arin), Hytlegaard can use Mettenheim troops as well. Mettenheim Troop Tree
The Barclay Empire
Barclay is widely known to be the most powerful in terms of military might and even giving the Providence a hard time during the War of the Three Emperors. Thanks to their heavily armored troops, they can become a formidable force. They are also known to conquer countless factions to grow. Barclay Troop Tree
The Kingdom of Praevor
Not much is known about this growing kingdom, other than it is a mixture of different cultures located in its lands. Uniquely, Praevor is ruled by 3 different individuals and each representing their own culture, a council. Thus, their main troops consists of honorable and skilled men hailed from different parts of Praevor, a true symbol of unity. Hiwakura Troops are the 'Japanese'-side of the Council of Three, possessing honorable men and women who'd dedicate their lives for the survival of their clans. Masters of the sword and bow, they are also fast and agile in combat. The Vikings are believed to be the descendants of Nordic clans who migrated from Calradia and settled in the lands. Strong and unwavering, they were the masters of heavy weaponry and their passion for combat makes them strong as they'll fight until their death arrives. Crownguards are the 'English'-side of the council, mirroring the knights of the empires of the east, they excel in horseback combat, providing shock attacks in battle. Disclaimer: This RP is centered around a video game known as Mount & Blade: Warband. The lands of Pendor, Mettenheim, Barclay (Prophesy of Pendor mod) and Calradia (Vanilla Warband) are not mine, credits to the developers. However, I've implemented these mods into a single world and a few backstory changes have to be made for the RP's sake. And of course, this is purely fictional. You'll be playing as individual of either of these factions, from an advisor to the kings of the Eternal World, a travelling merchant, an impoverished noble or a bodyguard to a noble or his/her daughter. Everything you do affects the game, and this is obviously, a player-driven story. You can persuade your lord to wage a war if you're an advisor and many other things. Please, I hope you have an interest in this. FURTHER NOTE: Cultures and religions are on the way. I just wanted to share this with you guys.

Well good day there folks! This is my first foray to the world of fanfictions! Mwahahaha! Anyways, please do excuse my grammar, English is not my native language. If you find any mistakes, please feel free to point it out! And no flames okay? Critics are very welcome, but flames will get me nowhere. On with the fic!
Destruction.
There was only ransacked stalls and houses in what used to be a marketplace. There was only turned tables and broken potteries in what used to be a tavern. There was only screams of agony and sadness in what used to be a lively city.
There was only a wounded woman nailed to the floor by her hands in what used to be the regal castle in Cez.
'My King!'
A large man dressed in a heavy plate armor with a crowned great helm approached the Griffon knight who called him. He looked down on the object that had caused the knight's distress, he looked down at the nailed woman. She wore a regal plate armor that had retained it's beauty despite the blood and missing parts that exposed the snake bite wounds on the woman's skin.
'It's Lady Alyssa m'Liege! She's alive!'
The king removed his helmet, revealing a haggard face framed by his own beard and long red hair, a shocked expression adorning the battle hardened man. 'By the gods.. Someone get the surgeons in here! No, get An- Head Physician Ansen in here, now!'
'You really think this is not my fault Gundarr?' The king spoke from his seat in his tent. 'Many good citizens of Cez lies dead, and Alyssa was tortured and violated, tell me if that's not my fault!' He said almost angrily.
'No brother.' Said the one in front of him, the one Lord Gundarr Iceheart. 'It is not your fault, we marched here as fast as we could.'
The king stood up and paced around his seat, his bloodshot eyes looking at anything but Gundarr, 'Yes we did, but i was the one who placed her in Cez despite of her origin! I could always grant her some of my own villages, not some city that would be the end of her!'
'Bodvar, she fought alongside you since the very beginning, she deserved a major fief, and between the two choices, Cez would better suit her than in Valonbray.'
'Yes i know, it would risk a discord within the Order of The Dawn, but still..'
'I don't remember Kaeteli marrying a weak man, she married the hearty Unificator of Pendor. You attained the name Stoneheart for a reason, live up to it!'
Bodvar finally smiled, 'Mm-hmm, Stoneheart is still better than No-heart, right?'
'Judging by the way you hacked your way through those vile Anaconda Knights, i can safely say that No-heart suits you better.' the ex-jarl of Fierdsvain laughed before raising a tankard of ale, 'To Lady Alyssa's health, and to you!' He grinned at his brother in law.
'May the gods bless our country!' The king also raised his tankard, then downed it alongside his brother.
Right after they finished their ale, a Falcon lady-knight rushed into the tent, 'My Lords! Lady Alyssa is awake! She requested an audience with the king!'
Bodvar stood straight and put his formal mask once more. 'Thank you Lady Anita. Well then Brother, please excuse me.'
Gundarr gave his brother a Pendorian salute, then watched him went out with the lady knight. 'I guess a full blown war with the Snake Cult is inevitable.' He pondered as he took another swig of his ale. 'A true battle for peace, now that i can live with..'
Bodvar walked briskly alongside Lady Anita across the camp. His expression hard, his steps strong, his doubts quenched. Whatever happens next, he shall face it bravely. He is the king of all Pendor, he must do it for the sake of his people, of his subjects, and of his friends and families. Her tent was guarded by Lord Roland the Grandmaster of The Dawn himself and his loyal knights, proof of how valuable she was to the people of Pendor. His bravado however, was instantly destroyed the moment went inside Alyssa's tent.
Ansen squeezed his shoulder before going out of the tent with Lady Anita.
She lay there on the bed, battered and bandaged. Her bloody armor hung on the stand, a reminder of the gruesome fate she had to come through. The thing that chilled him the most was that she looked so peaceful, almost serene, dismiss the bruise and bandages and she would look like a sleeping woman. Her looks reminded him of his past, back from the time when he was just an impoverished young noble lad. Back from the time when the last of his family died. From when his aunt died. She had that same peaceful look.
'No, Alyssa's not dead!'
He took a seat beside her bed and looked at her serene face. Time had been kind to her. The runaway serpent priestess that had trouble wiping off her old snakey habit was gone, replaced by a regal noble lady, good-natured and just. He still remembered the reservations he had towards her during the first few months of her joining. He still remembered her struggles to gain his trust. Despite the barriers and challenges he presented to her, she succeeded.
And he still remembered the heavy feeling he got when she chose Cez over Valonbray, saying that she was better suited than anyone else in his court to face the Snake Cult due to her knowledge.
Now he could relate to her in many ways; she was one of his first companions, she could poke fun where others couldn't, she was a funny person beneath her formal mask, and she was the one shedding blood alongside him for the longest time. She was like a little sister he never had, a little bit younger than him, turning only 32 next month.
He was so deep in thought he didn't realize that Alyssa had opened her eyes and stared at him for about a minute now. 'My King? Are you alright?'
Bodvar snapped off his thoughts and stared at his subject. 'Good evening Alyssa, how are you feeling?' He asked as a smile graced his haggard features.
He glanced at her arms and saw that despite her smiling face, they were still quivering. 'It's okay Alyssa, don't hold it in..'
It only took a second for her mask to shatter, for all formalities to step aside, giving way to her real feeling to come out. At that moment, she was not Lady Alyssa of Cez, she was not the Lady that had fought the snake invaders bravely, she was just a little girl clinging to him for her dear life. She wailed and wailed to his chest, pouring all her anguish and agony to the man she had come to consider as her own brother.
She might be an ex-priestess of the Snake Cult. She might be a ferocious warrior on the field. She might be the strong willed woman that ruled Cez.
But in the end, she is still a woman. As she remembered the massacre of her subjects and the rape by the cultists, she clung to him tighter, trying to find any kind of protection from her own tainted memory.
'So it was indeed Maltise..' Bodvar finally broke the silence of her tent.
Alyssa nodded, her eyes still red from all the tears she had just shed.
'I let her go and this is how she repays me.. Of all the warlords that i let live, she is the only one to make me regret my decision.'
The ex-priestess looked up, and saw something she had not seen for a long time. She saw his anger from his cold and bloodshot eyes, she saw the very reason why her King had been dubbed Stoneheart by his enemies.
'She will die a slow death.'
He stood up and was about to walk away from the tent when Alyssa grabbed his hand. 'Bodvar, do not start the war without me..'
He stared at her eyes, her teary but determined eyes. 'I won't, i promise. Now go get some sleep, get well soon, we got a war to plan!' Relief finally settled on him as he saw her grin. 'For the people of Cez, and for you, we shall make her pay! By the way, Lord Ulric was worried to death about you.'
He grinned as she sputtered incoherent words, blushing.
'I heard that you're awak- Oh, my King!' Lord Ulric, the ex-king of Sarleon gave his King a salute after nearly ran him over.
He turned towards the intruder, and the king's grin became even wider. 'I'll leave you two lovebirds alone then.' Roboform download.
As Ulric fussed over his love interest, he walked out of the tent.
He peeked his head back into the tent, intruding the kiss of the two lovers. 'Oh, Ulric, don't do anything funny just yet, she's still injured.'
He walked out of the tent laughing with the sound of the coughing Ulric and Alyssa behind him.
The sun peeked over the mountains, a new day had dawned. It marked the beginning of a new war. The one that will bring destruction upon the Snake Cult. The one that will bring peace for his beloved country. And by the end of it, Maltise shall fear death.
He thought of his loyal men; standing straight, happy, and ready to fight with him. He thought of his officers; grim yet friendly, loyalties unquestioned, ready to lead their men to descend upon his enemies. He thought of his auxiliaries, the Veccavians, the Barclay honored troops, the Noldors, even the independent warlords; ready to stood beside him as payback for his good deeds towards them.
Yes, by the end of the war, Maltise shall fear death. By the end of the war, her death shall be his gift for Alyssa and Ulric's marriage. By the chalice of the old Pendorian Kings, he swears it. 'May Astraea guide us.'

Starting Options
As soon as you launch the game, the main menu presents you with several options. These are:
New Game: Starts a brand new campaign game.
Load Game: Loads up a previously saved game.
Quick Battle: Set up a quick skirmish. Can be useful to practice without worrying about losing your troops in campaign.
Options: Modify options to make the game work better on your machine. You can also change certain functions to make the game easier or harder.
Since this is most likely your first time playing, you'll want to hit New Game, unless you want to try out the Quick Battle stuff. Either one is fine, not like I can stop you.
New Game
When you click New Game, you are greeted with a couple options to start customizing your character. These options are Male and Female. Males tend to have an easier time in the game, as all the requirements to gain fiefs are low (only about 150 renown I believe). However, playing as a woman leads to more interesting games. Women have an easier time finding a spouse, as they don't have to worry about learning poems or getting on the father/brother's good side. As a result, the choice comes down to what you want. Do you want to be a male knight and earn glory the easy way, or do you want to be a knock off Xena, Warrior Princess, and make your own mark? Your call. The next few options are for starting stats prior to seeing your character sheet. What each option does exactly is beyond me, but there are other guides that explain what each option does. When you see your character sheet, there are 4 attributes. Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Charisma. Strength is a measure of..strength. Kinda straightforward. It increases your health as well as allowing you to raise your Ironflesh and all the power stats (Strike, Draw, throw), increasing the amount of damage you can take and how much you can throw back at whoever decided it was a good idea to poke you with a spear. Agility is all about movement, and it affects all associated skills. Basically, if you move while doing it, it's probably agility based. The big ones you need to worry about are Acrobatics and, if you want a horse, Riding. Acrobatics increases your on foot running speed, and acrobatics allows you to ride non-trash horses. Intelligence means you're a smart boi, and all skills that may involve some thinking beyond 'stab that' or 'shoot that' fall into this, includign Inventory Management, Path-Finding, and Wound Treatment. Inventory management gives you more slots to hold stuff in, pathfinding bootst your movement speed on the map, and wound treatment helps you heal faster if you get hurt. You also get a boost to engineer, which means you build siege equiptment faster. Very good choice. Charisma allows you to have more troops and get better deals in trades. That's about it.
And So, Your Story Begins
Right before you start the game, you can pick where you want to start. You can start in Praven, or you can start in the wrong town. Once you start playing, you'll be attacked by a bandit. scroll up on the mouse wheel to pull out your crossbow and do it again to pull your sword out. You also have a shield. Use what you have to murder the bandit (he probably had a family, you heartless bastard), and a man will run up to you. This is the merchant of [insert town here] (that better be Praven), and he has a job for you. Talk to him in his home and for the love of God, take his quest. It's a decent tutorial and it'll walk you through some of the basics of the overworld map, and other things. However, we'll follow his questline, and not the tutorial stuff. You can read, right? When you hit tab and leave his house, run to the nearby villages and recruit volunteers. You only need 5, but who said you couldn't have 10 or 12? After that, go to the town you started in and go to the tavern. Talk to the merchant and he'll tell you to go find a group of bandits and learn where their hideout is. There are only 4 of them, and your starting weapons are good enough to make short work of them. Now, go to the hideout and kill everyone there. The merchant's brother will thank you, and you can take all the loot the bandits had. This is good for some extra beginning cash, but they also have better armor that you can take. Go back to the tavern and talk to the merchant. he will pay you about 200 denars, but he has one more thing for you to do. He wants you to help clear out the bandits in the town. Accept this and kill bandits (you know the drill at this point). Once you're done, you'll go back to his house and get paid again (I think), and your respect in the town will go up. This means the town likes you. This is good. And now, finally, it's time to do your own thing.
Making Money
You may notice that I mentioned getting extra money. Everything in this game has a price. Companions? have to pay Denars to hire them. Better troops? Pay to upgrade. Better armor? You get it by now. Hotel? Trivago. There are many options for making money. One is killing bandits and selling their loot, but you really don't make much like that. You could raid a village, but then a kingdom will dislike you, and you may be attacked by a lord of a kingdom. Save the raiding for later. That leaves 3 ways to make easy money, and 2 of them don't require thinking. These are as follows:
Trading: Buy crap from one town, sell crap to another.
Bounties: Chaotic Neutral never felt so good.
Collecting a lord's taxes (and then stealing said money): Rob the rich, who are exploiting the poor, to make yourself rich.
I'll go into detail on each method in the following sections.
Armor, Weapons, Horses, and Supply
Armies need two things to function in this game, food and money. Money is simple, just sell stuff. Food however must be purchased or stolen from defeated enemies/looted villages. Keep an eye on how much food you have, as you don't want to run out halfway through a siege. Trust me, I know how bad it is. Meat spoils quickly, but dried meat and sausages will keep until they run out. So does bread, cheese, and butter. Armor keeps you from dying immediately. The best armor in the game is plate armor, but it is prohibitivly expensive. If heavy armor isn't quite your style, find what you like, and try not to die. Helmets, boots, and gloves also count as armor. Experiment to find the best combinations for your build. Weapons make your enemies die faster. Each weapon type has its own pros and cons, but it all boils down to what you want to use. I personally use the GodWar Cleaver, but you can do whatever you want Horses are..well..horses. You can buy them to make yourself a cavalaryman/woman/whatever.
Trading
Trade is vital in Calradia, and you can profit from that simple fact. This is the harder of the 3 options, as it does require some time to find where you can sell something and make the most profit. Now, when I say trade, I mean goods like Ale, Wine, Furs, Velvet, Spices. All expensive stuff. The saying 'buy low, sell high' is key here. Find something like that at a low price (<500 Denars is optimal) that people want. Next, go to a town and go to the marketplace. Don't sell your stuff just yet though. You may not get the best deal there. There chould be an option to check prices with the locals. Do that. Please, do that. Don't run around to every major town in the game just to sell one bolt of cloth. When you find where the best deals are, go there and sell it. Congratulations, you've made money. Now, do it until you hate yourself.
Bounties
Bounties are a lot easier than trading. Get the quest, stab the guy, get money. Simple. You can get bounties by asking a lord if they need anything done. You'll know it's a bounty mission when they mention that they need [name] of [place?] killed. The bounty is 300 denars. Hey, I said it was easy, not that it made you instantely rich. He'll also say where he may be hiding out. This is a village, at least, everytime I've gotten one, it's been a village. Go to the village and find someone called 'Nervous Man' Talk to him, then stab him to death like the cold, heartless animal you are. Your relationship with the village will go down. Turns out people don't like it when you walk up and shank a guy to death. Who knew? Go back to the lord who gave you the bounty and tell him that it's done. You can either take the money, or you can refuse it, saying that it's blood money. I don't know what happens if your refuse the money, so that says a lot about me, doesn't it?
Taxes
Do you have dreams of being an IRS tax collector? If so, boy, do I have some news for you. Collecting taxes is the easiest way to make a lot of money quickly, but there are a couple downsides. You first get the quest to collect taxes by asking a lord if he needs help with anything. They will ask you to collect taxes from one of their fiefs. Villages are the most common, but I once got a quest to collect taxes from a town, so it is possible to see a town for this. Once you have the quest, go to the specified place and click the button to start collecting taxes. At some point, you'll get an option to either keep collecting the same tax rate, or cut the rate in half. Taking the first option could prompt a peasent rebellion that you have to put down without using your sword, bow, axe, cleaver, or whatever else you have. You'll instead be given a stick. Fear the stick. After you finish, your standing in the village will go down. I don't know what happens if you cut the tax rate in half, so again, what does that say about me? Once this is done, you have to make a choice. You can either go back to the lord, in which case he'll let you keep 1/5 of the amount collected, or you can keep it for yourself. The upside to the second option is obvious. More money is good. Of course, now you can't do any more missions for that lord, as you'll have to turn in all that money before you can do another job.
Renown, Because You Need It
Renown is vital to getting anywhere in this game. You need it in order to become a mercenary, and then a lord. You earn renown in battle, and you get more depending on how outnumbered you are. Keep in mind that you have to WIN that battle. You also earn renown through quests, though you're better off fighting battles to get renown, as you do end up with more that way.
Mercenary Work
Once you have enough renown, you can be a mercenary for a kingdom. You become a mercenary after talking to a lord and asking if he needs anything done. He will mention that [insert king here] is looking for mercenaries to fight in his wars. If you accept, you will become a mercenary, earning money based on the both the number and quality of your army. Note: It isn't a huge sum of money Alright, now you're a mercenary. Now what? Remember, you're entitled to fight this king's wars, which means you are enemies with whichever kingdom your lord is at war with. This means you can't go to their towns without sneaking in, you'll be pursued by enemy lords, and enemy villages will not allow you to recruit until the end of the war. This lasts for 60 days. In those 60 days, you'd better get your renown up as fast as possible, which means winning battles and doing jobs for allied lords. Do this for long enough, and you'll get your renown up high enough to become a full lord.
Lordship
Once you have enough renown (150 for men, 700 for women), you can ask to become a vassal of the king. You must ask the king directly, as no other lord can do this. This can be difficult, as the king can be anywhere on the map. Once you find the king, ask to become his vassal and take the oath. As soon as you do, you'll be granted a fief, which is the poorest village in the kingdom. This village also tends to still be on fire, if you're in the middle of a war. Your mercenary payments end, and you can now get taxes from your fiefs directly.
Fiefs (What a Fun Word to Say)
A fief is the name given to any village, castle, or town in the game that a lord can control. They generate weekly income, which you automatically collect. Villages generate the least, and town generate the most. However, each fief must be protected from enemy attack. In the case of towns and castles, you can station a garrison of your own troops to protect in the case of a siege. Villages however are a different story. You cannot station a garrison in a village, and they can be raided, resulting in a loss of income from the village for the week. This can be devestating early in the game, so your first priority is to protect your village from whatever may want to raid it. Along with defending a fief, you can also improve them. Improvements can buff a fief's loyalty to you, keep prisoners from breaking out, generate more money, or alert you if an enemy force is on the way. These take time and money to build. Their time to build is based on your engineering skill. Once they are built, they are permanent. In your first village, start building a messenger post to alert you if an enemy is near your village long before they attack. Then, you should build the mill to increase revenue. After that, do what you want with the village.
Expanding Your Power
Now that you're a lord with a stable income, now you can start to expand your influence. First, I reccomend getting close to your king, which you can use to get more fiefs. Next, go capture an enemy castle or two, and garrison them. If you're awarded these castles, garrison them and use them as a springboard to attack an enemy town. Note that towns will have garrisons in excess of 300 men, not to mention the army(ies) of enemy lord(s) inside them. Be ready for a tough fight. Once you have a town, garrison it immediately. You don't want to lose the town you lost half your army taking, now don't you? During this phase, you'll want to get better armor and weapons.
Marriage
Which you're off slaughtering all who stand in your way, you may end up taking a liking to a certain noblewoman. Of course, you can't just marry her outright if you're a man, and you can't even marry a woman as a woman (sorry ladies). As a man in this game, you need to court the lady of your choice. First, find a town with a feast going on. Odds are a tournament is going on. Try your best to win this tournament. Next, dedicate your win to your favored lady by telling her this. Now, tell her that you are her 'most ardent admirer'. She will either like this, causing your relationship with her to go up, or she'll be creeped out, and you'll lose relationship with her. Nonetheless, you can still go see her, but only when her nurse (caretaker, she isn't dying of plaguebolAIDS) sends you a letter. In the time between meetings, get her father to like you so you can see her whenever you want. You also want to learn poetry, because if there's one thing the ladies in this game like more than watching you slap men with wooden sticks until they fall over, it's poetry. You can ask her at each meeting if you two have a future together. If she has another lord courting her, go track that man down and duel him. Only one man can poke your lady, and you'll be damned if it's Lord Limpdick. After a while of seeing your lady, you can ask her to marry you, but make certain her father approves of this action, or you'll find your in-laws a lot less welcoming. For a woman, find a nice, hunky lord, and ask to mary him. Simple.
Endgame
After a while, you'll find that there are no other kingdoms left on the map. Congratulations, you've reached the end of the game. This is it, there is nothing else. All that remains are bandits, but are they really a threat to you anymore? Now, you can do a thing that you may regret, but you may find it works well for you.
Founding Your Own Kingdom
Right after you've defeated every other enemy kingdom in the game, you may find that you're bored. Or perhaps you want to try this in another game. In either case, you need to rebel against your lord, declare your independence, and take over that kingdom, becoming king/queen in the process. This is NOT easy, as you need a huge amount of money and the support of many of the lords in the kingdom you want to usurp. You can also make your companions lords, but they will no longer be able to enter your party. Besiege enemy towns and castles, and win the war. Become the supreme lord. Sit upon your Golden Throne and smile at your works. Rule as you see fit. Meme on your enemies. You've earned this seat. Now start a new game and go do it again. And have fun.
Prophesy Of Pendor Download
She smiled back at him, 'I'm alright my lord.'
Lies.
'I'll leave you two lovebirds alone then.'
As Ulric fussed over his love interest, he walked out of the tent.
He peeked his head back into the tent, intruding the kiss of the two lovers. 'Oh, Ulric, don't do anything funny just yet, she's still injured.' Flower in prison korean drama wikipedia.
